The other evening I went to take my dog Petey for a walk on the golf course cart trail behind my apartment at very near sunset and was treated to this  beautiful scene. I could tell I may be in for a treat just by the color of the sky. When I reached the pond I decided to take a few pictures of the reflection of the sky on the water.

I took the image with an I phone 7 plus and it did a great job although maybe not as good as one of my DSLR cameras I was still very impressed! I did a little light editing with Lightroom  but like most images shot with smart devices they aren”t as sharp as pro grade cameras. 

   As I got to the top of the hill I was treated to a colorful cloud formation over the horizon of the soybean field that borders the golf course. Since there was a little more light to work with to make the image sharper than the image down on the pond.

I shifted the I phone to wide mode and captured one more nice open field view

I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful area where I can just step outside my door and experience Gods beautiful creation! These pictures were taken at Riverbend YMCA Golf club in Shelby North Carolina.
