Had the pleasure this past weekend to do a shoot of 3 sweet and pretty cousins! Their grandmother had contacted me about the possiblity of doing the shoot and we were able to do it outside on Mike and Jan Tuckers beautiful farm in southern Cleveland county near Earl just south of Shelby North Carolina and North of Gaffney South Carolina.

    The 3 young ladies that I had the pleasure to work with were 15 year old Hailey, 9 Year old Kaylynn and 6 year old Addi. Addi has a hair loss condition known as Alopeca. Alopecia is the spot loss of hair that isn’t always permanent. Some people may mistaken it for someone who has cancer. Addi has a great attitude about her condition and doesn’t let it affect her. She is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside! 

  The sun was close to setting that evening so we were able to take advantage of that golden beautiful soft evening light. In the evening when the sun is near the horizon the light is spread out and becomes much softer and more flattering on everything. There is also a golden tint that makes for the best images and is sought after by all photographers. 

  I ended the evening with a shoot of the farm owners Jan and Mike(Tuck) Tucker. Mike is the senior Pastor of Christopher Road Baptist Church in Shelby North Carolina. Jan is a retired Elementary School Teacher and now is Mike’s(Tuck’s) right hand partner in running a growing church. If you are looking for a Bible teaching church and live in the area you should look into visiting their church.
