This is one of those photo shoots that you are always happy to be a part of. This was a family shoot with a twist. You see The family wanted a Photo shoot to capture their elderly and ailing dogs final days with them.

For quite some time  Oreo has been experiencing some seizures and showing signs that he may not be with his beloved family much longer. Oreo is a Boston Terrier that is 13 years old and means a lot to his family, Joey, Emily and their young son Randy. 

I have had dogs in the past and I know what it’s like to lose the one that you’ve had for a long time they become part of the family and one of the family. Oreo is no different in his important role in the Phillips family. 

It was a overcast warm humid morning and although it was October there wasn’t much color. Emily’s dad Tommy had restored an old wooden wagon and we used it as a prop along with some pumpkins and hay bales and some beautiful geraniums. The family dressed in fall  colors and it gave the scene and impression of fall. 
At last check oriole is still with his family but they will cherish the memories made that day and pictures once that dreaded and fateful day comes.
