The other day I was riding through uptown Shelby NC looking for some spots to do some outside photo shoots and noticed a back street with an alley. It had a white walled rustic look to one side and a darker red brick look on the other and at the other end of the backstreet alley was the court square. So when Wayne King sent a message to me on messenger that he wanted some pictures of his son Noah this place came to mind.

We met on a Friday evening to shoot the session and it was a beautiful evening but a little chilly. Noah looked sharp in his white dress shirt and light blue slacks. Noah was a very cooperative and has a great attitude. Never once did he complain or become irritated with the posing process. A lot of 10 year old boys become restless quickly but Noah just smiled and laughed and enjoyed himself!

Kids like Noah seem to be a dying breed in today’s world. Noah is respectful, pleasant and always smiling. His dad has done a great job raising him with high behavior expectations and a strong faith in Jesus Christ. It was a pleasure and honor to be asked to capture these memories at this moment in Noah’s life. I hope that he will recall with a smile these images at this stage in his young life.
