The sunflowers are drawing a lot of attention this week! I have scheduled several mini shoots and was so grateful for the chance to shoot Emily’s birthday session! Emily had requested her friend Abby and boyfriend Andrew to join her for her session! The Photo shoot was a birthday present for Emily.

The weather was scorching hot and like it has been on many previous days excessively humid! The previous day I had a photo session and had issues with fogging on my lens and briefly dealt with that today but thanks to being proactive it was only for a few minutes! I had set my camera out an hour earlier in order to avoid the contrast of cool house and hot and humid outdoors.

It was a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and a slight breeze to make it a little more bearable. Emily,Andrew and Abby were a pleasure to work with! Emily’s mother Amy came with several request for certain poses and I was excited to try some of her ideas and they were fun and it seemed to keep the young trios attention. Emily was excited about her session and it showed. She had a glow about her and that made it so much easier for the rest of the group including Andrew! Most boys at 14 are not very cooperative but Andrew was eager to be a part of the session. Abby was very photogenic and was also very eager to make this a memorable shoot! The trio looked very sharp and was dressed in casual attire!

 It was awesome getting to know Amy,Emily and Abby, they were a pleasure to work with! I already knew Andrew and Kim and they also were very pleasant to work with! I would like to thank Kim for thinking of me for this session and Amy for trusting me with this special moment in Emilys life on her birthday!
